Microsoft Voice is a cloud based phone system, which enables the use of Microsoft Teams to Make, Receive, Transfer calls to and from Landlines and mobile phones on the Public Switched telephone Network (PSTN). This package includes Phone System, Domestic Calling Plan, and Audio Conferencing. Optionally a user can choose to a International Calling Plan that includes (600 Minutes Per User Per Month) as an add-on to the package.

Working Remotely and staying in communication with the Office, Customers, Colleagues, and Suppliers, whether it be Email, Chat, Voice, Conference, or Video. Microsoft Teams and Voice together brings it all together in one view.

Using an Existing Phone Number(s)
Yes, Phone Numbers can be ported from your current provider. Once you port over your phone number(s), Microsoft will be your service provider.
Can You Bring Your Own Calling Plan
Yes, customers can work with their Microsoft partner to bring their own calling plan. A configuration called DID allows customers to connect voice trunks directly from their network to Microsoft Teams or interconnect 3rd party telephony entities such as call centers or analog devices. The Microsoft 365 Business Voice (without calling plan) subscription is specifically designed for this situation
With Microsoft Teams being on iOS and Android Platform, using the system while being mobile is easily done. Receive, Transfer, and Make Calls while out and about and staying connected with the internal team in one place.
Business Voice gives you the details you need to see which User(s) call details, make reports on each of the user(s). Run reports on call quality, and durations of calls. This is just to talk about the beginning of controlling your new Phone System.
